It feels silly doing a whole entry for this because it’s only a quick, 62-page short story. As a huge fan of all of Gillian Flynn’s novels, I had to pick up. It’s marketed as a ghost story, but it’s not very scary. Or, let me clarify: It’s a very Gillian Flynn take on a ghost story, which is to say it’s more about twisted people than anything supernatural. Funny, eerie, and as full of strange twists as a short story can be, it’s best to go into this one knowing as little as possible and letting Flynn take you on a bizarre, bumpy little ride.
