“And lastly from that period I remember riding in a taxi one afternoon between very tall buildings under a mauve and rosy sky; I began to bawl because I had everything I wanted and knew I would never be so happy again.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Crack-Up
I’m Jessica. I like to read, bake, cook and think. (I’m an introvert, in case you couldn’t tell. Yes, I also love cats.) Anyway, this is where I keep track of it all.
I read… mostly literary fiction with a bloody smattering of mystery/thriller/horror. You can find me on Goodreads, where I’ve challenged myself to read 100 books in 2016. On this blog, you’ll find micro reviews of all the books I complete. For a full list in alphabetical order by author, click here.
I think… mostly about different areas of philosophy, psychology and politics. This is the most under-developed portion of the blog, as I’m still trying to get more comfortable sharing these thoughts in a public space.
